Palo Alto / Mountain View Reclaimed Water Pipeline Project
Palo Alto and Mountain View are constructing a pipeline to carry recycled water from the Palo Alto Regional Water Quality Control Plant to customers along East Bayshore Parkway and in Mountain View’s North Bayshore area.

Construction Update: [Date: 8/11/08]
The contractor’s night shift crew is completing installation of 30-inch-diameter ductile iron pipe by August 15, 2008 on East Bayshore Road in the vicinity of Matadero Creek . The night shift crew will return to day shift work upon completion of the 30-inch pipe installation.
During the upcoming months, three day shift crews will be pressure testing installed lines and installing final paving, final tie-in at the RWQCP, customer connections, air release valves, and blow-offs throughout the project area.
Other key work includes bridge crossings at Matadero Creek and Adobe Creek in Palo Alto and Permanente Creek in Mountain View.
